  23. The cable you need can be built rather simply if you carefully look at the 
  24. parallel port pinout for the A1000 and the pinout of a standard (look at a 
  25. A2000) parallel port.  Comparing these two will give you an idea of what nneds 
  26. to be done.

  30. You don't need to be a soldering iron genius, but you must be careful not to 
  31. bridge any two adjacent pins.
